Kabir lived in India in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. He was a teacher,
primarily, and a mystic poet. His teachings were a blend of orthodox Islam, Sufism,
and bhakti Hinduism. Bhakti can be translated as "passionate devotion"
or "perfect love". His poetry was used to reinforce his teachings.
POEMS

Are you looking for me?
What is seen is not the truth
Without the Beloved...
When shall I see you again...?
