Hafiz

Hafiz was a contemporary and rival of Omar Khayaam, who was an orthodox Muslim. their religous differences are apparent in their poetry: while Khayaam wrote almost solely about Allah and some about nature; Hafiz wrote about love. at the time, it was scandalous. these poems celebrate love, in all forms, and are still very emotionally applicable to modern life. if I find more to put up, they certainly will be here.
